Jaycee Dugard, kidnapped for 18 years and just recently rescued, is seen to be in a position to negotiate a higher than the already $20 million voted by lawmakers to finance her and her two daughters’ education, therapy, assisted living and counseling.
Kidnapped in Salt Lake Tahoe in 1991 when she was 11 and held captive for years in the backyard of paroled convicted sex offender, Philip Garrido, 58, with the full cooperation of his wife Nancy Garrido, 54, it had been found that there were several instances where slipshod work of the State of California Police had been seen in the handling of the Dugard Missing Person Case 9 years ago. The most evident of which is the face to face encounter of the State Police with Dugard herself and her two daughters, fathered by Garrido, in the main residence of Phillip Garrido but didn’t bother to confirm the girls’ identities amidst the great no. of rundown tents in the backyard that served as the residence of Jaycee Dugard and her two daughters born in 1994 and 1997.
