34 people were killed at an Iraqi opposition camp when the Iraqi military raided the area.

According to reports, the incident happened at Camp Ashraf, the base of People’s Mujahideen Organisation of Iran or PMOI, located north of Baghdad, in Diyala Province, last Friday.

United Nationshuman rights spokesman Rupert Colville said 28 bodies that had gunshot wounds were discovered at the camp. “It’s clearly a very serious incident and we are trying to get more information,” he said.

He added that they’re still trying to locate the other six bodies.
