17-year-old Aaron Kelly was sent home on Wednesday’s results show, leaving us with only 4 contestants battling it out to be next American Idol.
Kelly sang “Fly Me To The Moon” on Tuesday night, as the contestants tackled the timeless songbook of the legendary Frank Sinatra.
He was joined by Michael Lynche in the bottom two.
Before America’s decision was revealed, pop hit maker Lady Gaga performed her latest single “Alejandro” on the Idol stage. This week’s mentor Harry Connick Jr sang his version of “And I Love Her,” which is a Lennon/McCartney classic and is included in his new album called “Your Songs.”
Next week, Jamie Foxx will mentor Casey James, Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze and Michael Lynche, the four remaining Idol contestants, as they take on the best-known movie music in Hollywood.
