The 15-year-old student who hanged herself due to bullying in South Hadley, Massachusetts had been said to have not only triggered the events that lead to her being bullied but had also been “prone” to bullying in her former schools in Ireland.
This recently released reports plus the fact that Phoebe Prince was taking anti-depressants for quite sometime and had even attempted suicide once before is surely going to make the case of the six accused students of bullying Phoebe in gaining public understanding that that certain day’s bullying when Phoebe hanged herself couldn’t be the only reason why she ended her life. Thus, some of them couldn’t be charged at all. Charges range from criminal harassment, stalking and human rights violations.
South Hadley District Attorney Elizabeth Scheibel is said to have made this bullying case a “cause celebre” in her long history of seeking excessive punishments.
