Here it is, boys and girls. Apple‘s very own Steve Jobs will be announcing in a special event today what exactly the new Apple Tablet is, it’s specifications and the features that Apple’s gadget-hungry, ooh-shiny-metal-thirsty mob of fans will expect from Apple’s latest creation.

Engadget will be blogging live with updates from the Apple event, as will the Huffington Post, among others. For those of you who prefer to watch in the comforts of their own homes (or workplaces, if you will), make sure you synchronize your watches, and alarm your calendar gadgets to these times: Hawaii (8:00 am), Pacific (10 am), Mountain (11 am), Central (12 nn), Eastern (1 pm), London (6 pm), Paris (7 pm), Moscow (9 pm), Philippines (2 am on January 28), and Japan (3 am on January 28).
