if you want to get overly technical, the “military” was not government operated at all, it was a corporation. because of its expansion beyond us or even earth's territory, there were no governing laws determining or weighing in their actions and that is how they have a very governmental presence- because essentially, the earth based corporation was its own government outside earth's rule.

now enjoy the movie for what it is! one last thing, i'm incredibly conservative and i have no idea what liberal propaganda you're referring to.

man you guys are lame,those of you who cant except entertainment for what it is. i did not know that a vision for fantasy and enjoyment was a political reference to the U.S. military being evil. dang you figuered James cameron out, all these yrs of ideas just to convince people the U.S. sucks haha…for all we know the people against the na'vi was far from being americans since sam worthington is an aussie..ohhh thats right he was just acting! know what i mean? dork

I'm glad you were able to find some liberal bias and warn the public about it. I was going to talk about how visually stunning this movie is but I guess we better stick to discussing the moral message hidden in this eye candy.

American is a terrible country. We lie, cheat, and kill our way to obtaining land from the Native Americans who were here first and rightfully owned the land. We destroy the habitats of plants and animals to pave roads, build skyscrapers, and create air pollution. We invade Iraq to take their oil in order to power our polluting automobiles. And we invade an entire system of otherwise peaceful natives to destroy the lush, almost sentient planet to destroy their home and take the minerals that happen to exist underground.

American is ALWAYS in the wrong. The U.S. Military by association is EVIL.

THEY EVEN USE THE "SHOCK AND AWE" REFERENCE TO TIE THE EVIL MILITARY IN THE MOVIE TO THE U.S. MILITARY.
