A week after “Jackass” star Ryan Dunn‘s fatal car accident, co-star Bam Margera talked to E! Online to share his thoughts on his best friend’s death.
“He was my best f—ing friend in the world. It’s been five days now, and I can’t stop crying, man. I just don’t think it should’ve been him,” Margera said.
He went on to tell a story of how he and Dunn were in a car that flipped eight times back in 1996. “Thank God I had my seat belt on, because ["Jackass" contributor] Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn’t have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he’s alive. But like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving.”
Dunn, 34, was in a car crash last Monday in Pennsylvania that killed himself and passenger Zachary Hartwell. Reports said Dunn’s alcohol level was at .196 when he was driving his Porsche at over 140 miles an hour that fateful day.
