It seems that, yes, it’s true: CNN news anchor Betty Nguyen will indeed be leaving CNN.

According to a tweet by Betty Nguyen herself over her Twitter account (@BettyNguyenCNN), today will be her last appearance on the network. Her tweet reads, “Aww. Last morning on the show. I’m really going to miss CNN. My friends & colleagues here are truly top notch.”

It seems that Nguyen will be securing a transfer to CBS as an anchor for the CBS Morning News, along with managing segments in The Early Show. This appears to be confirmed by a statement by Sean McManus, CBS Sports and News president, saying “She has a great on-air presence and brings a tremendous amount of hard news reporting and anchoring experience to CBS News.”

Nguyen’s final broadcast over CNN can be seen today at 6 – 9 am EST.
