Fans of the hit 1990s television teen drama series marked the day as an occasion to commemorate the “cheesy, but beloved” classic show.

“Beverly Hills, 90210” was about the story of the lives of a group of teens that lived in the wealthy Southern California neighborhood. The show’s characters include Brenda Walsh (played by Shannen Doherty), Brandon Walsh (played by Jason Priestley), Donna Martin (played by Tori Spelling), Kelly Taylor (played by Jennie Garth), Steve Sanders (portrayed by Ian Ziering), Dylan McKay (played by Luke Perry), Valerie Malone (portrayed by Tiffani Thiessen) and David Silver (portrayed by Brian Austin Green), among others.

The show aired between 1990 and 2000 on Fox.
