Grammy-nominated singer Keyshia Cole gave birth to a 7 lbs. 3 oz. baby boy at 11:54 Tuesday night.

The R&B star and her fiancé Daniel Gibson of the Cleveland Cavaliers were ecstatic and announced that they named their son Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr.

Cole’s representative Tresa Sanders said, “The proud couple would like to thank everyone for giving them privacy during this special time. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”

“Both mother and baby are doing great,” Sanders added.

The 28-year-old performer and her 24-year-old NBA player fiancé got engaged on New Year’s Eve.
