Joining the likes of Hollywood celebrities Oprah Winfrey, Ben Stiller and Paris Hilton, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have both stepped up to aid the recovery efforts in Haiti - with a million-dollar pledge.
Brangelina has shared that the Jolie-Pitt Foundation is donating $1 million to Doctors Without Borders to help aid the recovery efforts in Haiti, where thousands have been left either dead or injured after an approximately 7.3-magnitude earthquake rocked through the region last Wednesday.
“We are devastated by the news from Haiti,” shared the couple in a statement. “We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter.”
Wyclef Jean was also responsible for raising funds and resources to aid support for the victims of Hurricane Gustav and other tropical storms that laid waste in the area. See how you, too, can help the Haiti recovery efforts here.
