After suffering from cardiac arrest last Sunday, actress Brittany Murphy will finally be laid to rest tomorrow, Christmas Eve, at Forest Law Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.
The “Clueless” star was pronounced dead on arrival at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, after the hospital staff unsuccessfully tried to revive her.
Radar Online reports that the funeral service for the actress was “strictly private” and even Murphy’s estranged father, Angelo Bertolotti, was not invited to the service. People also reports that a more public funeral service will be held at some point in 2010.
The actress’s autopsy results have also been completed, but is still yet to be released as autopsy surgeons are still waiting for the additional toxicology and neurological results. The additional tests won’t be available for five to six weeks.
Although it was previously reported that the actress exhibited flu-like symptoms and was taking flu medication before her untimely death, no foul play or overdose has been detected thus far.
