Broadway and TV actress Caroline McWilliams dies at age 64
 

Caroline McWilliams, best known for her role “Marcy Hill” on the sitcom “Benson,” died at her home in Los Angeles on February 11 due to complications of multiple myeloma, according to her family.

The former television star was part of original cast of 1975’s “Cat on the Hot Tin Roof” on Broadway. She appeared on other television series including “Soap,” “Another World,” “Judging Amy” and CBS’ “Guiding Light.” She was also on “Beverly Hills 90210,” playing the role of Ray Pruit’s mother.

Two of her movie projects were “White Water Summer” and “Mermaids.”

McWilliams, who was married to actor Michael Keaton for 8 years (1982-1990), is survived by her sisters Norma Liedtke, Patti McWilliams and Kelly-Jo Dvareckas, and her son Sean Douglas.
