Hollywood celebrities and former co-stars of 32-year-old actress Brittany Murphy expressed their sadness and condolences through the popular micro blogging site Twitter.
Ashton Kutcher, Murphy’s ex-boyfriend and co-star in “Just Married,” posted the following: “2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon.”
Murphy’s co-star in “Spun,” Mena Suvari, tweeted, “I’m just sooo devastated now. Found out Brittany Murphy died earlier this morning & I’m shocked. We worked together & I knew her for yrs. And ALL my love to her family & friends. May God be with you in this difficult time.”
Kathy Najimy, who worked with Brittany in the animated series “King of the Hill” posted, “wrked w/& knew Brittany 4 14 years (& plyed her mom once as well) sweetst most talnted angel who got hked up w/ wrng people. we love u brit.”
Even those who did not work alongside Brittany Murphy, such as Jessica Simpson and Cheryl Burked, tweeted their condolences.
