Charlie Sheen may just be heading back to TV sooner than expected.
According to NBC News, Sheen was quoted saying that CBS had offered him back his job on the hit comedy “Two and A Half Men,” although no deal has been struck yet. It was also unclear whether he wanted to go back to his role as a womanizing bachelor.
Sheen was fired from the most-watched TV comedy in the United States on March 7 after streaming public insults toward its producer, Chuck Lorre. He had also been the subject of several media reports about wild partying, including doing drugs and alcohol.
CBS and Warner Bros Television have six weeks to decide whether to bring back “Two and A Half Men” for a ninth season, with or without Sheen.
