Former Texas Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy is now engaged to girlfriend Rachel Glandorf after proposing to her on the night of January 11^th.

The football star brought her now fiancé to the Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium on Monday. The stadium’s giant high definition scoreboard then flashed the words “Will You Marry Me,” to which Glandorf said “yes.”

Rachel Glandorf is an aspiring journalist who does a bit of reporting for KEYE 42-TV, a CBS affiliate. She used to be a track and field athlete at Baylor University.

In the national championship game last week, the Longhorns lost to Alabama, 37-21, with McCoy injuring his right throwing shoulder. But the starting quarterback, who is NCAA’s career leader in victories, is expected to be present on the NFL Draft in April.
