Police are searching for Jackson’s personal doctor, Conrad Robert Murray, in hopes of shedding light on Jackson’s death. Autopsy results reveal no conclusive evidence about Jackson’s death as of yet but some suspect that drug overdose caused the untimely demise. Doctor Conrad Murray was reportedly giving Jackson daily injections of a morphine-like drug called demerol tonic.
Conrad Robert Murray lived with Jackson at the star’s Beverly Hills mansion. The doctor was said to be present during Jackson’s death. Sources told TMZ that Jackson was injected with demerol tonic at around 11:30 AM, hours before he died.
Allegedly, Jackson was hooked on the demerol tonic injections. Michale Jackson was said to even have a name for it, according to TMZ. He called them “health tonic.”
Lisa Marie Presley, Jackson’s ex-wife, predicts death of Jackson in her blog. She recalls a conversation that she and Michael had years ago on her blog. According to her, Michael Jackson feared ending up like Elvis Presley, who died at the age of 42 because of drug overdose.
The following comes from Lisa Marie Presley’s blog:
“At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, ‘I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.’
I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that.”
Los Angeles County Coroner had done a three-hour autopsy of Michael Jackson and reported that cause of death “may not be determined for another month.” Additional tests would be done. He confirms that Jackson has been taking prescription medicine but has yet to confirm drug overdose as cause of death.
