David Hasselhoff is a singer, producer, and of course actor and businessman.  As any shrewd businessman does he would hit as many birds he can with one stone.

A&E cable and satellite network is asking for ten half-hour episodes of Hasselhoff’s still untitled docu-series.  This reality show would showcase David as he attempts to revive his career and at the same time set off his daughters:  Hayley’s acting career and Taylor Ann’s musical career.

For press release Hayley says that this reality series is to prove that members of her family are close.

Oftentimes seen as a last ditch effort of those hungry for attention reality television can turn its participants into national celebrities even for just 15 minutes.

But any agent would think twice about letting any of his talents enter into reality shows, which is now in a lot of subgenres, from:  documentary-style, competition/game shows, self-improvement/makeover, renovation to supernatural and paranormal.  Participants of these reality shows are recognizably “Z-list” celebrities or Nonebrities.

For any reality show to make ratings outrageous antics or disastrous drama that oftentimes leads to real life relationship breakouts had earned reality docu-series as being a vehicle of humiliation.
