The “Desperate Housewives” of Wisteria Lane are saying bye-bye, The Associated Press reports.

According to AP, a person familiar with ABC’s plans for the drama says the next season will be its last. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the network and producers hadn’t authorized public comment.

ABC, which is scheduled to discuss its fall schedule at a news conference Sunday, declined comment.

“Desperate Housewives,” which stars Terri Hatcher and Eva Longoria, made ratings splash when it premiered in 2004.
