Chris Henry’s funeral is scheduled for Tuesday in New Orleans, where the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver grew up.
The memorial services will be held in the afternoon at the Alario Center in Westwego, La, close to downtown New Orleans. Henry was from Belle Chasse, a nearby town.
The funeral will start at 1 p.m. CST after the visitation service between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. CST.
The 26-year-old Henry died on Thursday after acquiring serious injuries from falling out of the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancée, Loelini Tonga. The accident, which the police said was caused by a domestic dispute with his fiancée, happened in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Bengals personnel will travel via team charter to Westwego. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith and players from other teams are also expected to attend the service.
