“Up in the Air” which stars actor George Clooney topped this year’s Golden Globe nominations with six nominations, according to the official list announced Tuesday morning.

“Up in the Air” is being nominated for for Best Drama, along with nominations for Clooney as Best Actor, and Jason Reitman as Best Director, among others.

Other notables for this year’s Golden Globe nominations include “Nine” with five, with “Avatar” and “Inglorious Basterds” both vying for four. The TV series “Glee” managed to score four nominations, including Best Television Series for the Comedy or Music category.

The 57th Annual Golden Globes will air on January 17, 2010.
