Looks like Google’s not doing well. Last Thursday, the system thought the sudden flood of searches for keyword “Michael Jackson died” was an attack. Today, the search engine claims Michael Jackson died in 2007 at age 65.
Google wrote and defined Thursday as an “outpouring of searches” about Michael Jackson.
For a few moments, Google made a mistake and answered queries to the search keyword “michael jackson died” with the death of Michael Jackson the writer. The search engine usually gets relevant results from Wikipedia and appends it at the top. Google used the other Michael and failed to consider that the recent death is the most relevant.
Google fixed the issue immediately after wards. Michael Jackson the author was a well-known writer. In the end, there’s no harm done.
