At 1.09 meters, a 250-pound Great Dane from Tucson, Arizona is the world’s tallest dog ever on record, according to the Guinness World Records.
Giant George measures 3 feet, 7 inches from paw to shoulder, and is just less than an inch taller than Titan, his closest rival who is also a Great Dane.
Titan, who is about three-quarters of an inch shorter than Giant George, is a white 4-year-old Great Dane from San Diego. He was named 2009’s world’s tallest dog after Gibson, a Grass Valley, California Great Dane, succumbed to bone cancer.
4-year-old Giant George is owned by David Nasser.
