Rupert Grint, the actor who plays Harry Potter‘s friend Ron Weasley, has been reported to have been absent from the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows due to Swine Flu. However, his publicist has left the assurance that Grint has already recovered, and has been back to filming.
His publicist states that Grint had “a mild case of Swine Flu”, but is now pretty much fine, without any risk of infecting his other castmates. Grint should be well enough to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince in London this coming Tuesday.
“Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted,” a source said.
Grint is currently filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – the final installment in J.K. Rowling‘s hugely phenomenal Harry Potter book series.
