Will Smith and son Jaden are teaming up again on the big-screen, reports The Associated Press.

The two, who last starred together in the 2006 drama “The Pursuit of Happyness,” will work together in a yet-untitled science-fiction adventure for Columbia Pictures, a unit of Sony Corp.

M. Night Shyamalan, who directed “The Sixth Sense” and “The Last Airbender,” is directing and co-writing the movie starring the 42-year-old father and his 12-year-old son.

Sony said Monday the movie will “focus on a boy struggling to save himself and his estranged father after their ship crashed on an abandoned Earth a thousand years in the future.”

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith will be producers on the new movie, just like they were in their son’s last movie hit “The Karate Kid.”
