iPhone 3G users around the world, significantly those outside iPhone‘s official carriers, can finally utilize their trendy smartphone at its full capacity in terms of functionality as Apple’s iPhone Dev Team finally launched their update utility to upgrade iPhone 3G to their newest operating system.

Jailbreaking the iPhone 3G to pump its OS up to 3.0, as well as iPhone 2G, and 1st and 2nd generation iPod touch, is now legitimate through ultrasn0w utility which can be officially downloaded at  Cydia and Icy software installer service, the same manner Pwnage tool and redsn0w 0.7.1 can officially be obtained.
