Actress Jennifer Connelly gave birth to a baby girl on May 31st in New York.

She delivered the baby,  Agnes Lark Bettany, at their home through a scheduled home water birth.

A rep for the Academy Award winning star told Us Weekly, “Everyone is healthy and doing well. The family is very excited.”

Connelly is married to Englishman Paul Bettany, whom she met while filming “A Beautiful Mind” in 2001. They tied the knot in 2003 in Scotland.

Agnes Lark Bettany is the couple’s second child together. They have a 7-year-old son named Stellan, and Connelly also has a 13-year-old son named Kai from a previous relationship.
