Jessica Simpson has been invited by First Lady Michelle Obama to sing for military families, reports omg! Yahoo News.

The 30-year-old singer, who has been a long time supporter of the troops, told UsMagazine.com that she is “thrilled to have the opportunity” to be personally chosen by Obama to perform on April 13 at Coors Field in Denver, Colo.

“[The First Lady] asked me to sing for the troops. That’s a huge honor for me,” Simpson said. “Just to be there and show my support and say thank you.”
