Jon and Kate Gosselin, stars of reality TV show Jon and Kate Plus 8, have long been surrounded by rumors of divorce and infidelity. After last night’s show, they announced their separation.

Papers for the split were filed at Bucks County Courtroom, Pennyslvania.

During last season’s finale, Jon spoke with Kate and expressed his desire to discontinue doing the show anymore because of its effects on their family. Kate managed to convince Jon and pushed through with Season 5.

Jon told People that “he wanted a less-high profile life, while Kate appeared to remain committed to their TV career.”

The relationship over the previous years was rocky and still appears to remain so. Both parties were accused of cheating previously. Just a few days ago, Jon was spotted looking for an apartment.

Their marrige has been under scrutiny for a long time and it looks like they will have their last family pictures.
