Lady Gaga’s Biography Reveals Nothing New: Eating Disorder

Much as confirmations had been done prior to this book regarding Lady Gaga’s health concerning the possibility of having lupus, using drugs / prescription medications and having an eating disorder it seems that the biography, “The Rise and Rise of Lady Gaga” out Sept. 14, had nothing new except quotes from former employees.

Even though she’s not ever way beyond the radar, the book states that Lady Gaga was hospitalized six times in 2009 because of dieting.  Her former tour manager, David Ciemny, says that while on tour the 24-year-old would binge on unhealthy food then stop eating to fit into her costumes.

Such drastic is her dieting that one time all 20 lbs. disappeared.

Desperate and creative measures were taken in the shot of her video Paparazzi because of her extreme dieting.

Pressure on keeping a trim figure is tremendous work on Lady Gaga both mentally and physically having been teased about her weight as a child.

Ciemny’s wife, Angela, adds Gaga was afraid of being alone that she would cuddle up next to her in bed and would afterward ask her to stay overnight.

Adding credence is one of Lady Gaga’s statements regarding her being “perpetually lonely.”
