The Lakers managed to get the game advantage over the Celtics on Game 1, which would mean that the Celtics will have to up their game on Game 2 if they intend to stay competitive. And that’s probably what they will do come their next standoff.
“Everybody gets knocked out,” says Glen Davis. “It’s about how you get up. We got punched. We got dazed. It’s about how you react to it.”
All the Celtics players are definitely looking out for Kobe Bryant, more so after the heavy beating they got in Game 1. After their loss in Game 1, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins reportedly went straight to their hotel rooms to watch the replays of their loss, primarily to study how exactly they lost.
If they got very notable pointers from that, we’ll definitely find out later. Watch the Los Angeles Lakers vs Boston Celtics 2010 NBA Championships Game 2 live stream.
