A series of attacks against kindergarten kids in China have alarmed parents and other locals, causing the government to look for a way to put a stop to the bloodshed as soon as possible.
Seven kids and two adults were “hacked to death” Wednesday morning in the central Shaanxi province by a 48-year-old man. A Nanzheng county official said the killer, who was the owner of the house where the private kindergarten school was located, committed suicide after the attack.
This particular assault is the sixth incident that occurred in eight weeks. The first one happened on March 23 at the Nanping Experimental School when eight students were killed by a 42-year-old physician using a knife.
On April 28, a 33-year-old former teacher stabbed a teacher and 15 students at a Guangdong province school. The next attacks came on April 29 in Jiangsu province and April 30 in Shandong.
