Singer LeAnn Rimes’ divorce from husband Dean Sheremet was finalized on Saturday after a year of being separated.

The couple decided to separate in March last year after reports of the “How Do I Live” singer’s affair with her Lifetime movie co-star Eddie Cibrian went out.

27-year-old Rimes, who married 29-year-old Sheremet in 2002, said she “felt selfish for having an affair and hurting those close to her.”

“I take responsibility for everything I’ve done. I hate that people got hurt. But I don’t regret the outcome,” she added.

Cibrian, 37, is reportedly in the process of divorcing his wife Brandi Granville.
