Marie Lu’s “Legend” is going on screen.
According to The Associated Press, CBS Films has tapped up-and-coming writers Andrew Barrer and Gabe Ferrari to adapt the forthcoming novel for a young adult franchise.
CBS has also talked to Jonathan Levine about directing the adaptation, which is being produced by Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of “The Twilight Saga” fame.
“Legend” centers on Day, a 15-year old Robin Hood figure who happens to be the nation’s most wanted criminal, and June, a teenage prodigy who is hired to hunt him down.
