Col. James Sabow had long been officially regarded as having committed suicide back in 1991, when he was found dead in his own backyard. This ‘truth’, however, is questioned when a lone gunman goes up to the Pentagon and shoots two police officers.
Col. James Sabow was found dead in his own backyard with a shotgun at the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, California. Official investigations ruled the death as suicide, but Sabow’s family had always contented that this was untrue. Sabow’s family argues that he was murdered, because he uncovered weapons and drug smuggling activities in the base.
This long-closed case was reopened when John Patrick Bedell went up to the Pentagon on Thursday, and opened fire at two police officers stationed there. Bedell was killed in the subsequent shootout, when an officer managed to shoot him in the head.
It appears that Bedell had communicated with Sabow’s family in the past, expressing his sympathies and outrage for the death of James, implying that he agreed with them and their claims that there was indeed undiscovered illegal activity in the base. Authorities also discovered some of his writings in social media such as Facebook that suggests that Bedell was a conspiracy theorist, an example of which states that Bedell was convinced that the government was involved in the 9/11 tragedy some years back.
