Dallas Cowboys tight end Martellus Bennett apologized Monday after naked pictures of him emerged on the internet.

According to MediaTakeout.com, the photos were posted by an ex-girlfriend of Bennett.

In a statement released by Bennett through his team, he said, “These pictures were taken four years ago and placed on the Internet recently without my knowledge or consent. I understand that they are totally inappropriate. And for that I am sorry. I regret the embarrassment that it has caused the organization.”

Rich Dalrymple, vice president of communications for the Dallas Cowboys, said, “We discussed this matter today with Martellus and will addres it further on an internal basis.”

Earlier this year, two other athletes were also involved in the same naked-pictures-on-the-internet incident, and they were San Antonio Spurs George Hill and Portland Trail Blazers Greg Oden. Both also apologized for what happened.
