King of Pop Michael Jackson died of suspected heart attack this Thursday noon in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 50.
His brother Jermaine tells, “It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known.”
Paramedics received a call, made from the singer’s Beverly homes, saying that Jackson has stopped breathing. Doctors tried performing CPR on Jackson as they rushed to the hospital.
Two hours later, the UCLA hospital proclaimed him dead.
He establishing himself as a formidable force in the music industry, with his 1982 album “Thriller” selling an estimated 50 million copies. However, notoriety and controversy had hounded the artist in the recent years. He was ridiculed for his lifestyle choices and alleged molestation.
The singing sensation was set to perform 50 concerts this July. Sadly, his comeback concerts would never take place.
Jermaine adds, “The family request that the media please respect our privacy during this tough time.” Currently, police investigation is underway.
