Police authorities stated that they will be starting to press murder charges on one or more individuals, following the release of autopsy results showing that the recently deceased pop superstar Michael Jackson had died of a subsequent drug overdose.
“The autopsy shows that Michael died of a drug overdose with Diprivan and a range of pills in his stomach. He had needle marks on his neck and all over his body,” said Terry Harvey, a long-time friend of the Jackson family.
Reports state that there are plans for criminal trials, and that they will involve individuals who were responsible for Jackson’s drug use – whether they were the people who actually stuck the needles, or the people who made the drugs available to Jackson.
Jackson’s family are currently working with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to find out who were responsible for giving the drugs to Jackson.
“It is likely to be second-degree murder, due to the actions which led to his death. They have been assured that someone or maybe more than one person, will be brought to trial,” Harvey continues.
Recently, La Toya Jackson, sister of the King of Pop, had also expressed suspicions that Jackson was murdered by “shadowy groups” interested in amassing his £1 billion fortune.
