One half of the couple that made global news for gate crashing a White House dinner, Michaele Salahi, is grabbing headlines again.  Bravo cable network is banking their money on this self publicity making machine.

The Real Housewives of D.C. is another reality television series in The Real Housewives of… franchise.  Other franchises of The Real Housewives are:  The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Atlanta which is the highest rated reality series on the mentioned cable network.

The Real Housewives of D.C. would feature five successful housewives discussing “politics” with the usual expected eventful encounters that is a trademark of this show.  Cast of the Real Housewives of D.C. would include a blood connection to the Kennedys and a British housewife.

Regarding last November Salahi still couldn’t figure out what the fuss is:  There was a dinner at the White House.  She went with her husband.  Identification card was asked and she gave it.  They let her in.  “If at any time they told us we weren’t wanted, we’d have left”.

The Real Housewives of D.C. premieres August 5.
