A former Miss Argentina died last Sunday after undergoing a plastic surgery operation on her buttocks.
Solange Magnano, 37, passed away after she was transferred to a clinic shortly after her surgical operation Wednesday, according to Argentina official news agency Telam.
The actual cause of death is still pending investigation, although some reports state that Magnano died due to a blood clot that accumulated in her lungs as a result of the surgery. The clot required Magnano to be rushed to a hospital where she passed away.
Magnano was Miss Argentina in 1994, and ran her own modeling agency in current times. She was also the mother of two 7-year-old twins.
CNN reports that Argentina has become a popular destination for plastic surgery and body beautification, where approximately 1 in every 30 Argentines have had some sort of surgery done on them.
