Nancy Dolman, wife of actor-comedian Martin Short, has died Saturday, a rep for Short confirmed on Monday. She was 58.
According to reports, authorities got a 911 call from the actor’s home in Los Angeles on Saturday, before his wife passed away. An L.A. County Coroner official said Dolman died of natural causes.
The former actress and the “Father of the Bride” star were married for 30 years and had three kids: 26-year-old Katherine, 24-year-old Oliver, and 21-year-old Henry. They met in 1972 during the Toronto production of the musical “Godspell”, where Dolman was an understudy.
Dolman appeared in the primetime television show “Soap” in 1981. She retired four years later to spend all of her time and attention to her family.
