Has Noah’s Ark been found?

A group of evangelical explorers claims to have found the popular biblical boat built by Noah and his family on Mount Ararat in eastern Turkey.

The team, made up of Chinese and Turkish voyagers, said that the remains of a wooden structure that they discovered could possibly be that of the ark because of the several compartments in which the animals may have been stored.

Documentary filmmaker Yeung Wing-cheung from Hong Kong and the Noah’s Ark Ministries International, said, “It’s not 100% that it is Noah’s Ark, but we think it is 99.9% that this is it.”

At a press conference, Dutch Ark researcher Gerrit Aalten announced, “The significance of this find is that for the first time in history the discovery of Noah’s Ark is well documented and revealed to the worldwide community. “There’s a tremendous amount of solid evidence that the structure found on Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey is the legendary Ark of Noah.”

This is not the first time that a reported discovery of the ark was made. In 1987, archaeologist Ryan Watt found a boat-shaped object located across the mountains of Ararat.
