After 8 months of rigorous workout and diet, Olivia Ward lost 129 pounds to win the 11th season of “The Biggest Loser.”
The 35-year-old opera singer, who stands 5 feet 9 inches, started the competition at 261 pounds. But on Tuesday night, she tipped the scales at 132 pounds.
In separate interview with People magazine and Us, she said, “For such a long time, I didn’t even let myself imagine winning. I will say the last few weeks I was really pushing towards the finish line and I thought about that confetti!”
“My whole outlook on life is different; it makes me realize if I want some I can go for it. Before, I used put so many restrictions on myself, because I was afraid to be disappointed. It’s time to go out there and fall on my face a little bit. I’m excited to get out there and live life.”
Aside from the gift of a healthier figure, Ward also took home the $250,000 prize.
