The teaser for the fourth installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise is already available on YouTube and fans might want to check it out.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” has already started production last month, and it is going to be released on May 20, 2011. We are going to see Johnny Depp play the role of Captain Jack Sparrow on the big screen for the fourth time. However, the two other lead cast members, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley, have not signed on to be in the new film. The two played the roles of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann in the first three installments.

Instead, we are going to see Academy Award-winning actress Penelope Cruz play the character of Blackbeard’s daughter and Sparrow’s love interest.

In a statement by Walt Disney Pictures, it said, “In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past, and he’s not sure if it’s love – or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.”
