R&B singer Rihanna has confirmed that she is dating Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp.

Earlier this year, the two had denied the romantic rumors between them.

In February, Kemp prepared a party for Rihanna’s 22^nd birthday, but the music artist had insisted that they’re not together, saying, “I’m not dating anyone. I’m single.”

And Kemp had told reporters then, “I can’t get distracted by that. When it’s time to play baseball, that’s my job. No distractions. Rihanna is just a friend, a good friend of mine.”

But in an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, Rihanna finally spilled the beans and said,” He’s my boyfriend. … It’s new and it’s fun and it’s nothing too serious. I don’t want anything nuts that’s gonna take up so much of my energy and time in a bad way.”

Rihanna also added that the baseball player will not be going with her on tour, “No, he actually has a job like me.”

Kemp is Rihanna’s first boyfriend since she and Chris Brown broke up last year.
