“Hop,” a live-action/animated Easter-themed comedy that features of voice of British comic Russell Brand as the teenage rock star-wannabe bunny E.B., is still this week’s box office champ.
It earned $21.7 million in the past three days, upping its total gross to $68.2 million. It becomes the first movie this year to hold the top spot for two consecutive weeks.
Another Brand starrer, “Arthur,” a remake of the 1981 classic that starred Dudley Moore, came in second place with $12.6 million.
“Hanna” took the third place with $12.3 million, while “Soul Surfer” settled for number four with $11.1 million.
