Saints Parade: The mayor’s office at New Orleans will be releasing tickets to the New Orleans Saints‘ Super Bowl Parade later today. A thousand tickets will be made available on a first-come-first-serve basis starting noon on Monday, all the way to 3:00 p.m.
The New Orleans Saints are scheduled to hold a Super Bowl Parade on Tuesday at the Lafayette Square to celebrate their first win on their first shot at the Super Bowl, which aired Sunday night. The Saints won 31-17 against the Indianapolis Colts.
“Saints fans from far and near will get a chance to see and thank the team for bringing unity and hope to the City during a time of recovery and rebuilding,” said Mayor C. Ray Nagin. “We’re excited to welcome them home after that historic win over our own Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts. It is a truly exciting time for our citizens and we want to give them a celebration only New Orleanians can provide.”
Tickets will be available at the SMG ticket office on the ground level Gate A of the Louisiana Superdome. Parking will be made available in Garage 6, along Poydras Street and Claiborne Avenue. Additionally, the local International Hotel is selling tickets for its viewing stands on this link. Proceeds will go to the Play It Forward foundation.
