Fans will no longer see “Dancing With the Stars” longtime co-host Samantha Harris on the show’s 10th season beginning March 22 on ABC.
Harris said she wants to focus on her other projects such as her stint as a correspondent on the show “The Insider.”
“['DWTS'] could not have been more of a dream job. I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show,” she said.
Since 2006, Harris co-hosted “DWTS” alongside Tom Bergeron.
“I’m going to miss Samantha. We had a nice rapport off-camera and on. I could see that her workload was picking up on ‘The Insider.’ As somebody who’s been known to juggle a few jobs myself, I know that that can pull you in eight different directions,” Bergeron told People.
“DWTS” executive producer Conrad Green said he has already started looking for Harris’ replacement. “Samantha has been a brilliant part of [DWTS] and we wish her the best of luck on The Insider. She’s done an incredible job. Some of the most memorable moments on the show have been facilitated by Samantha. I think we’ll all walk away with enormous happy memories of working with one another.”
