Scuba divers discover “Shrek fish”

An extraordinary and odd-looking kind of fish was found recently by scuba divers off the coast of Japan.

The Asian Sheepshead Wrasse, aka the “Shrek fish,” is a fish that is common in the Japanese waters. However, its appearance, specifically its face, is not so common.

The scuba divers that captured it said that if you look at it closely, the Asian Sheepshead Wrasse looks a lot like the famous DreamWorks animated character “Shrek.” Its resemblance to the ogre is there – the eyes, the head, the chin.

Reports say the fish is about 30 years old.
