Sony Ericsson is quite popular for making the mid-range mobile phone market competitive with its feature-packed products. And this time around they’re set to sharpen that edge with its new addition to their T-series models: the Sony Ericsson T715.

In examining the external, this very stylish and compact slider phone measure’s up 91.5 x 48 x 14.9 mm. Distinctly, at front panel is the 2.2-inch LCD display running 240×320 resolution, common specs for mid-range phones. And as the T-series is all about visual style, the overall look is metallic, also with aluminum back panel covering the battery. The T715 comes in two motifs: Galaxy Silver with piano finish and Rogue Pink with mirror finish.

The Sony Ericsson T715 has HSPDA connectivity support perfect its NetFront browser, Google Maps and YouTube application.

With much hype about mobile multimedia and task-heavy devices, the T715 will not disappoint any individual that utilizes their mobile phone through their hectic lifestyle. Packed with 3.15MP camera with LED flash and Cell-ID geotagging, this phone is ready for standard point-and-shoot session and decent video recording as well.

This new model comes with a distinct smart desktop functionality that offers immediate view of appointments,  even displays ample animation regarding notes and birthdays that are tagged in the calendar. Messaging is also a priority with revamped messaging interface , Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync support and with a new functionality of reviewing conversation log.

Standard fare of goodies is still onboard: Media Player, TrackID, PlayNow and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, as well as FM radio with RDS. Sony Ericsson seems to be extending out of their nest in terms of external storage as this model supports microSD cards.

The Sony Ericsson T715 is coming third quarter this year but no pricing announced yet.
